Paragraphs from the Monologues

     "It's actually cerulean"
Use the noun repetition to describe something that is repeated over and over. Repetition is used effectively in the monologue."That sweater is not just blue, it's not turquoise. It's not lapis. Its actually cerulean." This quote suggests that the women knows much more than the other person so she tries to sound suffisticated by naming a lot of different types of blue which the sweater might look like. She keeps repeating You.....you.....you......you......you. She does this to make sure that the person who mentioned "This stuff" that she doesn't do that again and that it makes her feel bad for what she did or said. Repetition in a monologue can make a big difference such as highlighting an important fact that she wants to say.
